Our Vice Chair Dr. Cihan Yalvar Presented a Paper at an International Symposium

Dr. Cihan Yalvar, Vice Chair of our Department, participated in the 1st International Symposium on Leaders in Turkish-Islamic History (I. Uluslararası Türk-İslam Tarihinde Önderler), jointly organized by the Institute of Turkic Studies at Marmara University (Marmara Üniversitesi Türkiyat Araştırmaları Enstitüsü) and İLSAM. He presented his paper titled “An Essay on the Activities and Legacy of Supreme Leader Saruhan: The Great Chief of the Don Cuman-Kipchaks (Don Kuman-Kıpçaklarının Büyük Lideri: Başbuğ Saruhan'ın Faaliyetleri ve Mirası Üzerine Bir Deneme).”
