Our department vice chair, Assistant Professor Cihan Yalvar, gave a talk titled “The Place and Importance of the Sarıkamış Campaign in Turkish History” at the Association for Combating False Armenian Claims.
Orhangazi Mayor Bekir Aydın and ASEF members attended the talk.
Our professor remembered the beloved martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their country in Sarıkamış with mercy and gratitude; he once again voiced our nation's just cause against distortions of our history, using documents and accurate information.
At the end of the lecture, Talat Öztürk, president of the Orhangazi branch of ASEF, presented our professor with a plaque.
