The Department of History Quality Commission convened on Thursday, 27 June 2025. In addition to the department's quality officers, the meeting was attended by one of our external stakeholders, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mete from the Department of International Trade and Logistics at Gaziantep University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, as well as the department’s student representative, Recep Karahasan.
During the meeting, each unit presented the activities carried out within their respective fields, along with the department’s related efforts. Following these presentations, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mete shared his experiences regarding quality and accreditation processes and provided detailed information about the relevant practices implemented at Gaziantep University. Student representative Recep Karahasan conveyed the expectations and requests of the department's students.
The meeting also included an evaluation of planned initiatives to be carried out in the upcoming period within the context of quality assurance. Steps to be taken for the enhancement of this process were discussed in detail.
