As part of our university's orientation program, our department organized a trip in Yalova for first-year students.

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, as part of our university's orientation program, a “Yalova History” tour was organized for our department's first-year students. The tour, led by our department chair, Prof. Dr. Oktay Özgül, was also attended by our department vice chair, Dr. Cihan Yalvar. The tour first visited Termal. After the historical tour in Termal, the Termal Atatürk Mansion was visited. Following Termal, the Yalova Bonsai Museum, Turkey's first and only bonsai museum, was visited. After the bonsai museum, the group went to the Walking Mansion. After the Walking Mansion, the Çobankale Excavation Site in Altınova was visited.
